How To Handle Negative Thoughts In-order To Live A Positive Life


Negative experiences frequently are unavoidable, but re-framing or reinterpreting the feedback loop is possible. Redefining negative situations in more positive or even humorous terms counters the adverse psychological effects that would otherwise be experienced.
We can break the negative feedback loop through proactive thinking and behavior such as:


  • Engaging in activities or actions that help us shift our focus (leaving the premises, going for a walk and playing music).
  • Positive affirmations (saying I can, I will, I am... every morning, all day and every situation).
  • Re-framing a situation and attempting to find positive possibilities that could come.
If we make conscious efforts by saying positive words, reading positive books and watching positive movies, having positive people around and taking actions that makes us feel positive, we become aware of the positive aspect of our life that lost focus when negative event occurred. 

Please don't get me wrong I know it's not easy. Sometimes you have to do a whole lot to stay motivated and be positive, especially in the very face of negative occurrences.

Although some other times it comes easier but either way, you just have to stay aware and force a positive focus action repeatedly.  It does work. You have to force your brain and make yourself believe that a happy and positive life is very possible.
