Steps You Must Take In-order To Make Your Way Successful And Live A Life Of Success

I like what the Bible says in Joshua 1:8 ...that thou mayest observe to do all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous and thou shall have good success. It is clearly stated there that your success is your sole responsibility. The success of any man must include his active participation. God does not prosper a person that does nothing. God only backs people that makes move.

I have heard people often say "what will be, will be" but I see that as a complete lie. What will be will not be unless someone makes it be.

Newtons first law of motion teaches us that an object will either remain at rest or continues to move at constant velocity unless it is acted upon by an external force. 

Steps to take in-order to live a life of success  

• Have a definite purpose: According to Mariam-Webster's dictionary, purpose is the reason something is done or used. It's the aim or intention of something. It's the feeling of being determined to do or achieve something. It's the aim or goal of a person. What a person is trying to do or become. When you don't have a definite purpose your arrival time is not known. What you pursue is what you get. When you know the reward of what you are focused on, every distraction will lose taste to you. 

According to Tom Thiss, having a purpose is what makes the difference between making a living and making a life. Having a definite purpose gives life direction and meaning. When you pursue your purpose and work on your set goals, you discover that your life is filled with direction. 

• Focus on your purpose: When all you do is focus on other people's purpose, you are indirectly working for them without being paid. Focus can be defined as the center of interest or activity. Your purpose requires your one hundred percent focus.  

How do you respond to difficult situations in life?  

You don't need to allow what people say affect your focus. Remember, you have limited control over what people do to you but you have absolute control over your response. 

• Have the understanding that what you give to life is what you get out of it: This is stated categorically in the Bible, Galatians 6:7 says 'Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.' You can only get out of life what you put into it.

This point can be further explained by considering The Law of Karma. This law can be understood as the spiritual equivalent of Newton's Third Law of Motion, which states that 'for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction' . This law has shed so much light to the world.

'The Law of Karma states that for every action on the spiritual plane, there is an equal and opposite reaction.'  This goes to say that if sorrow is given out, sorrow will be experienced in return and if happiness is given out it will be experienced in equal measure. The understanding of this law creates in us the consciousness that every action causes an equal return and that events can only occur when there has been a corresponding cause. 

• Avoid Rush: It is better to be slow and be sure of safe arrival than to rush and end up crashing. So many have made critical mistakes in life because of rush. Your desire might be right but the timing can be wrong. For example, It's a good thing to desire a car but is the time to get the car? I like what the bible says in Heb 6:12, "That ye be not slothful but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises" Faith and Patience were placed in the same category which means they have the same potency. This goes to say that every lasting success can be obtained on the platform of patience and hard work.
